Meet The Philly Temps & Perm Employee of the Month for July 2024 - Tay M.
From referral to rockstar - Tay M. proves it’s who you know and what you do! A chance meeting between 2 people at a random event could not have gone better if we had planned it. The result? We get to introduce Taymiyyah M. as the Philly Temps & Perm Employee of the Month for July.
Now that we have worked with Tay at several assignments, it is easy to see why he was referred to us. In fact, the challenge is choosing which of his many positive traits we should exclude from a list. Punctuality has got to be mentioned. He had a last a minute interview and he was early and prepared to make an impression.
We can’t ignore the communication skills of a young man who clearly heard each question and answered succinctly. Attention to detail belongs on the list because it is not everyone who can accept an assignment with less than 24 hours and show up ready to get the job done.
Customer service must loom large because Tay listens to what’s needed and instantly knows how to execute each plan while making everyone, he comes in contact with feel like they are the only ones that matters.
Professionalism, politeness, affability, open mindedness, positivity, flexibility . . . there may not be enough room on the internet to complete the list so we’ll end with Gratitude. We are grateful that Tay was lead to us and chooses to shine his light on our behalf.

Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?
Tay M. (TM): I lived in the Philadelphia my whole life. I’m originally from the Germantown section of the city.
PT: What was your work experience prior to working with Philly Temps?
TM: My previous job was as a home health aide & I was a personal trainer at a non profit organization called Bria Young Basketball!
PT: How did you hear about Philly Temps?
TM: I was referred by a wonderful individual named Timeka, who I had the pleasure of working Wrestlemania with!
PT: Please share your most memorable experience working for Philly Temps.
TM: My most memorable experience from working with Philly Temps so far is being able to work and connect with people at Fan Expo-Philadelphia. I’m a big anime fan so it was a dream come true for me work with them!
PT: Do you have a favorite local place to shop?
TM: I really enjoy going to the Reading Terminal! My mom would bring me all the time and I would get the same strawberry cheesecake; eventually to the point where I couldn’t eat them anymore!
PT: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
TM: I enjoy working out & playing basketball. I also partake in content creation as well as videography/photography! I just did my first wedding this month so that was pretty exciting!
PT: What are your long-term career goals?
TM: My long term career goals are to play basketball professionally overseas , as well as expanding my photography business worldwide!
PT: What advice can you give to prospective candidates that want to work with Philly Temps?
TM: I would say just take a deep breath, relax & be yourself! Once you apply yourself, things really become easy! The team you get the pleasure of working with is really a blessing. It’s a very positive-friendly environment & you have the opportunity to connect with some many different type of people from all over! So you’ll definitely enjoy the work you do, just be kind & spread love and positivity & you will never lose!
