Solomon Navarro - Employee of the Month for May 2016

 

We choose the employee of the month based on work ethic, dedication, demeanor and attitude and every month it is a challenge as we believe all of our staff deserves kudos.

For May, 2016, we have chosen Solomon Navarro.

From Bartending High Profile events, to Greeting Guests at a local television station to most recently managing the throngs of families visiting a Lego’s.

Fan Expo in Oaks, Solomon has proven to be an asset and gives new meaning to the word diligence. We recently talked with Solomon to get to know him better. 

Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?

Solomon Navarro (SN): I moved back to Philadelphia in early 2000 prior to that I was stationed at various cities throughout the United States Army.

PT: How did you hear about Philly Temps?

SN: I found out about Philly Temps through the Indeed website 

PT:Please share your most memorable experience working for Philly Temps?

SN: My most memorable time was working the chocolate affair at WHYY12. 

PT: What is your previous work experience?

SN: I was a bar manager for the Mann Music Center

PT: What are your long term career goals?

SN: My long term career goals are to have my landscape company up and running with profit.

PT: What is your life like outside of work? What are your hobbies?

SN: Outside of work, I enjoy a multitude of activities from fishing, camping, paintball, golf, salsa dancing, ABKC / UKC breeder, taking photographs, traveling you name it I probably do it or done it.

PT: Are you involved in your community?

SN: I work with the community thru my landscape company Green Tree Lawn & landscape we have a program where we help under privileged children get school supplies for school.I've done freelance photography for Bags of Philadelphia and some of their events.
