Playing to Win

12 years ago, Philadelphia got a gift from the Midwest in the form of Lea J., the Philly Temps & Perm Employee of the Month for February 2021.

She looks at each assignment as a way of advancing her team. From making it a point to greet each coworker and client, to gathering the information needed to meet and exceed expectations, to paying attention to her environment and adapting each ‘play’ as needed.

Most of Lea’s time with Philly Temps has been spent with our Convention & Event unit and it is like working with a star quarterback and a head cheerleader rolled into one. Always making sure everyone around her stays positive and engaged while focusing on the plays that best suit the situation.

 Lea is focusing on starting a business, NeckSip®, so we are not always lucky enough to find her available, but when she says yes, we can expect a win.

Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?  

Lea J. (LJ): I’ve lived in Philadelphia since 2008

PT: What was your work experience prior to working with Philly Temps? 

LJ: I worked on a Dinner Cruise Boat as a MC (Master of ceremonies) for 5 years. 

PT: How did you hear about Philly Temps?  

LJ: I Heard about Philly Temps on Craigslist I believe!

PT: What are your long-term career goals?  

LJ: Continue to grow the NeckSip® Brand. And change the way we Think and Drink! 

PT: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? 

LJ: My hobbies are painting and collecting Vinyl records and silver.

PT: What is your favorite place to visit in Philadelphia? 

LJ: Favorite places to visit in Philadelphia would have to be the Stadiums! I Love sports, Especially Basketball. 

PT: What advice can you give to prospective candidates that want to work with Philly Temps?

LJ: If you want to work, Philly Temps is a great place to start!
