Meet The Philly Temps & Perm Employee of the Month for May 2024 - Matthew B.!

As the weather gets nicer, we start to notice more people spending their weekends on the golf course, and that is exactly where you may find the Philly Temps & Perm Employee of the Month for May, Matt B.

Matt B. has worked a litany of assignments through Philly Temps and has excelled at each one. Proving once again, that versatility and an open mind are important traits when looking for work.

Keeping a clear head, attention to detail, an ability to learn quickly and knowing the importance of communication are just a few of the reasons we wanted to shine the spotlight on Matt.

Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?    

Matt B. (MB): I’ve lived in Philly for 15 years.

PT: What was your work experience prior to working with Philly Temps?  

MB: Prior to working for Philly Temps I was a Station Manager for National/Alamo at Amtrak 30th St. Station.

PT: How did you hear about Philly Temps?   

MB: I heard about Philly Temps through Google.

PT: Please share your most memorable experience working for Philly Temps.

MB:   My most memorable experience working for Philly Temps and Chevy Chase at FanExpo, and seeing all the celebrities that came to the event, Marisa Tomei in particular.

PT: Do you have a favorite local place to shop or visit?

MB: Favorite local shop is Riverwards produce market, I love to cook and they’re a great place to find fresh local produce.

PT: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?  

MB: I love to hike and mountain bike, always working on my golf game.

PT: What are your long-term career goals?

MB: Long term career goals include continuing school for Software Engineering.

PT: What advice can you give to prospective candidates that want to work with Philly Temps?
