Meet The Philly Temps & Perm Employee of the Month for March 2024 - Dallas C.!

Drumroll please…it’s employee spotlight time!

Having a mind for computers and a heart for music has led to an interesting life for Dallas C. We are excited to hear more about it, which is one of the reasons we are shining the Employee of the Month spotlight on him!

This Philadelphia native’s career has been mostly working on a computer keyboard. His help desk experience is extensive and is validated by a slew of commendations and a list of past employers willing to praise his professionalism, knowledge, and skill.

In his down time, Dallas eschews the keyboard for a drum set and keeps the beat going at different venues across the city.

We wish everyone could rock the night away and roll successfully with the punches of a 9 to 5 world.

Philly Temps (PT): How long have you lived in the Philadelphia, PA area?    

Dallas C. (DC): All 59 years of my life!

PT: What was your work experience prior to working with Philly Temps?  

DC: All PC related and mostly Center City based.

PT: How did you hear about Philly Temps?   

DC: Only after applying for the current position.

PT: Please share your most memorable experience working for Philly Temps.

DC:   That would be the current position and I’ve been there for over a year.

PT: Do you have a favorite local place to shop or visit?

DC: Still cannot get out of Home Depot without buying more than I went in there for!

PT: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?  

DC: Playing drums with my band Mighty Joe Castro & the Gravamen (check them out here!. Check out their upcoming gig here, taking place on March 24th: at Kung Fu Necktie

PT: What are your long-term career goals?

DC: 5.8 years till 65 but I don’t seem to be slowing down! (Yet)

PT: What advice can you give to prospective candidates that want to work with Philly Temps?

DC: Say YES and it’s going to happen FAST!
