Employee of the Month October 2014: Jeri Hill
Meet Philly Temps’ Employee of the Month for October 2014: Jeri Hill
Jeri Hill is proud to have called Philadelphia her home for her entire life. While we have never known her to say a bad word about anything, when she speaks of the city her infectious smile gets even bigger.
She has been with Philly Temps for 11 years, and she has been placed through each of our divisions. Convention registration, information booth, mail sorter, receptionist, Jeri has done it all, and she has done an incredible job each and every time.
We sat down with Jeri to get to know her a little bit better.
Philly Temps (PT): Congratulations for being our Employee of the Month for October 2014!
Jeri Hill (JH): Thank you so much!
PT: How long have you lived in Philadelphia?
JH: My whole life.
PT: Tell us about your work experience before joining the team.
JH: I did all kinds of things, but it was all in the financial field.
PT: How did you first hear about Philly Temps?
JH: I looked in the phone book and Philly Temps was the one closest to my house (Big Laugh).
PT: Well that was lucky for us. What has your experience as a Temporary Employee been like?
JH: I love it. I have been doing it for 11 years because I love it so much.
PT: What is your most memorable experience working with Philly Temps?
JH: There was a large convention in town [Association of Plumbing Engineers] and as an incentive to visit the exhibitors; everyone was given scratch off tickets representing a deck of cards. I got to play ‘dealer’ when they came up to the counter and scratched off the ticket, I would spread them out and see who had the best poker hand. That was a lot of fun!
PT: What is your life like outside of work?
JH: I am very involved with many charities, especially helping senior citizens. I am also very active in my church.
PT: Well Jeri, thank you so much for always doing such a great job and we look forward to working with you for years to come.
